Geoff Habin

Managing Director.

Geoff set up Bikers Jersey in 1998. Originally sited within a small premises in Cheapside, the business enjoyed a substantial and growing base of loyal customers.

With increasing motorcycle and parts sales set to continue, Geoff relocated Bikers Jersey to the larger Georgetown Garage site, where the business is currently located.

Whilst overseeing Bikers retail and parts operations, as a passionate biker, Geoff is very much hands-on and enjoys meeting, greeting and 'talking bikes' with the many customers visiting the showroom.

Geoff possesses extensive motorcycle and wider automotive trade experience including a former tenure as MD of Jersey Rolls-Royce and Jaguar dealership.

Having toured around Europe and the USA, Geoff has a contagious passion for bikes and the open road. He has also taken to the air, gaining a private pilot's license and achieving instrument and jet rated certification.

A self-confessed workaholic, you'll find Geoff spends most his waking hours in the Bikers Jersey showroom, although he does find time to fly fish both on and off the shores of the island.

Owen Lewis

Sales Director.

Joining Bikers Jersey in 2003 as a Sales Assistant, Owen turned his obsession for motorcycles into a job!

Demonstrating outstanding product knowledge and a reputation for matching each and every customer with the 'right bike', Owen rose through the ranks to his current position of Sales Director.

His ethos is putting himself into the customer's mind, developing an understanding of their needs and what riding experience they'd expect from a bike. To do this - Owen takes the time to ride and evaluate the many demonstrator motorcycles received by Bikers Jersey. So - when a customer enquires about a particular bike, Owen augments the manufacturer supplied information with his own first-hand experience of the bike and its performance characteristics.

Owen recalls many customers visiting Bikers to buy their first scooter or 125cc bike and returning time and time again buying larger and varying bike types to suit their changing bike preferences and riding styles.

Owen has clocked up motorcycle touring experiences from around the globe including: riding across Europe to Norway's North Cape; riding through Africa to Timbuctoo; and an unusual jaunt across India in a tut tut! Through these experiences, customers often consult Owen as to planning riding holidays and seeking out routes along the best roads.

As a 50th birthday present to himself, Owen recently become the proud owner of a Kawasaki Ninja H2. He also owns a 2015 KTM Enduro.

Tony Blenkinsopp

Ecommerce Manager .

Bikers is one of Europe's largest online retailers of Harley-Davidson and KTM parts and accessories. Efficiently dealing with the vast amount and complexity of sales enquiries received each day is no small undertaking!

Tony rises to this daily challenge and heads up this part of the business. His unparalleled parts and accessory knowledge has earned him a reputation amongst KTM riders, Harley riders, within the Harley-Davidson Club GB and even Harley Davidson UK and USA!

Riding for almost 45 years, Tony started on a Ducati 250 Desmo followed by a procession of Nortons, Triumphs, BSAs - before developing a growing passion for Harley-Davidson. He has owned a number of Harleys including a Sports, Dyna, Softail and a Fatboy which was is most recent purchase.

Tony enjoys riding through the scenic passes of the Lake District and has toured throughout Continental Europe. Whilst on tours, as a veteran motorcyclist, he has been known to spend 10 hours a day on the saddle!

Mick Senior

Aftersales Manager.

Mick oversees the workshop and all counter sales. Once a bike is sold, it is Mick's responsibility to look after the customer, responding to all types of enquiry and scheduling aftersales services ensuring all customers continue to have an enjoyable and care-free riding experience throughout their ownership of the bike.

Building on his management experiences in previous roles, Mick has implemented a slick servicing and ordering system which has contributed to upholding Biker's high aftersales standards.

Mick has gained significant closed circuit racing experience on 250cc, 400cc Super Sport and Unlimited Classes - all through his Membership with East Midlands Racing Association (EMRA) prior to his move to Jersey. He has also had a stint of drag racing at Santa Pod and Long Marston.

His Harley-Davidson XL1200 and Honda Pan European ST1300 has taken him on many tours around Eastern Europe.!

Outside of working hours, when Mick is not riding his bikes he may be riding the waves either lobster fishing or as a member of the St Helier Lifeboat Crew.

Paul Dowden

Technician.

Paul is a Harley-Davidson factory trained technician to the standard of 'Expert'. Currently progressing towards the Harley-Davidson 'Masters' level. Upon successful completion of Masters Certification, Paul will become one of only a few dozen technicians from the UK and British Isles who have attained this standard.

Paul is also a KTM factory trained technician with extensive technical experience of working on KTM's wide range of off-road and road bikes.

As an active Member of the British Legion Riders Branch, he attends various bike leagues around Jersey.

With experience of working on bikes for over 20 years, Paul expectantly has a penchant for engines! One of his particular preferences is the Harley-Davidson Evolution (or 'Evo') engine that powers both his Harley-Davidson 1992 Classic FXRT and 1998 Ultraglide Limited Edition. The Evo's distinct 45 degree V-twin engine has taken Paul and his beloved Harleys on many tours and Harley-Davidson rallies across France.

Terry Paine

Technician.

Kawasaki factory trained and having recently undertaken specialist Ninja H2 training, Terry is Bikers' own Kawasaki specialist technician.

Terry also has a broad experience of working on all brands of motorcycle including an understanding of old classics yielded from a background of re-building vintage Triumph and Norton bikes.

He is an active Member of the Greenman Motorcycle Club which also organises the Holidays for Heroes 'Big Rideout' charity event in which he participates. Offering ride-outs to injured servicemen and servicewomen visiting the island, the 2015 event attracted over 800 bikers and raised over £6,000.

Terry owns a BMW 1100GS, a Kawasaki ZX400 and a Kawasaki GPZ550.

Russell Allchin

Technician.

Russell is Ducati factory trained and has also undertaken Ducati Desmosedi training, equipping Bikers with the technical know-how to keep a MotoGP bike in finely tuned working order! With Super Gilera factory training also under his belt (tool belt), Russell is Bikers own 'moto italiane specialista'!

Russell has been working on bikes since his teenage years and enjoys the fact that is passion is also his vocation.

Outside of Bikers and off the roads, Russell is a fully qualified personal trainer and strength coach. He also teaches Ju-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts and has an artistic side too with honed skills in air brush and custom painting.

Like all of the Bikers Technician team, Russell is an avid biker and his most recent bike purchase is a Suzuki SV650.

Lynn Cowley

Internet Sales & Stores Assistant.

Lynn is the online parts customers' first point of contact. Her in-depth knowledge and understanding of parts and accessories goes beyond just ordering goods. It often exceeds customer expectations when occasionally the items they order may not fit the bike or could adversely affect the aesthetics or riding experience of their motorcycle. In such event, Lynn will contact the customer and help them to select the product best suited to their needs.

Lynn is a passionate biker and as the owner of a Harley-Davidson Street Bob, customising her bike with the correct parts and accessories is never a problem!

August Wrzeshniak

Goods in and Despatch.

August goes by a number of different names. Within Bikers, he answers to the name of 'Augy' and has recently adorned himself with the fitting title, 'King of the Boxes'.

Despite being Bikers own royalty, August assumes a 'hands-on' role of goods-in and goods-out. Managing entries on the EvoPOS system as well as physically manoeuvring parts into stores and either into the workshop or for outbound mailing to customers from Jersey, the UK, Continental Europe, USA and even Thailand.

August has been around bikes since childhood and subsequent to his arrival to Jersey in 2007, he has acquired a Honda VTR 1000 and a Kawasaki ZX10.

When August is not 'boxing' at Bikers, he's performing the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira.

Sue Green

Administrator.

Performs administrative duties, financial functions and maintains on-going contact with suppliers, keeping abreast with order progression to ensure the timely delivery of all types of customer orders.

Sue has a long history at Bikers Jersey, joining the business within a year of its inception.

Sue is the owner of 3 rescue dogs, enjoys reading and cooking.
